i heard form eddy that we're clubbing this friday with the same people from excess, mel, nick, chris, tim, eddy joyce and myself. hmm i havent thought of what to get eddy for his birthday, and i know he won't read my blog cos he has problem seeing white and black. so does ec. they it's a genetic thing.
and i booked my basic theory lessons on sat morning 8am. it's gonna be a chore to wake up. oh well. i'm used to staying out late on sat nights and waking up at 7 plus am on sun mornings to go for mass. my sat mornings are normally used to lessen my sleep debt, oh well it should be alright.
matt's coming back to the hood thurs night, will be looking forward to see him again. he had to be confined for 3 weeks, when normally it's just 2 weeks. it's been a long time lol. was talking to him the other night over loudspeaker via the mobile and he was saying it was shitty inside. don't the males who have been conscripted know that already. but it makes us more of a man. something that other people would otherwise not understand.
he was thinking of pushing for a downgrade cos it's hurting his back, i'd encourage him to go through the whole phase but it might cause him more trouble, then again see how the events go. on a brighter note, we might be able to perform at esplanade. that's a good prospect. will discuss our plans with him when we meet up. rough diamond has since gone low-key. i gotta get back to louis first about the demos and all. this time round, i'm hoping it will materialise unlike our missed chance at bumblebeez. that really sucked dick. oh well, let's wait for the first spark to get us going. i know everyone back at RDI has been rather sad at the slowing down of pace, the valuable contacts we've made, and the people we've met up with, our hopes were pinned really high. all we can do now is rethink the steps we're taking and gonna take, although i don't know what the level of enthusiasm is right now.
hmm anyone's got a good deal on recording sofware for MACs please get at me. i've setup my sound-proofing foam, got my condenser and firewire interface, but the software i got can't make the cut. was thinking of using bootcamp and install windows so i can use cool edit but i ain't go SP2, plus thinking about it now, i'd rather not install windows and keep it a full-fledged macintosh monster and let it stay true to its name, reputation and potential.
